christmas

how is it suppose to be christmas if i can walk outside with only a sweatshirt on and its less than 2 weeks ago? Im kind of complaining but i know truthfully I’d also be complaining if i had to trek to class in tons of snow or bundle up with layers. But its so tough to get in the christmas spirit with this fall weather.

Sidenote: I already did my family christmas shopping. I’m not getting presents with my friends because that will only create havoc and quite frankly I’d rather not deal with that kind of stress.I just went to the boostore and bought all my family the little cheap westfield state  shirts, but i wish i had waited for there was a wicked cool craft fair in the campus center yesterday and i browsed around and found a ton of other things i could have gotten for my family instead. oh well at least im done shopping and ill know better for next year

Comedown

I’m a vegetarian. and if you’re reading this and you are too, just stop. Because I love meat. Like love love. Beyond the friend kind of love. So why become a vegetarian? The movie food Inc. Only reason I saw it was for extra credit for one of my classes. They say ignorance is bliss, and they’re not kidding. Chickens that can’t even stand that have mutated to grow faster for more production. 2 year olds dying from ecoli. You bet your bottom dollar I balled my eyes out at that part. Fruits and vegetables getting more and more expensive yet you can buy a whole burger with all the fixings for a dollar? So those families on a budget have no choice but to side with the heavily caloric burger. Overall just another eye opening movie on all the evil politics behind everything in this country, from the war on drugs to the war on obesity. See the movie. And if you have an it had no effect on you, you might want to take a step back and question your morals

Adoption

I love my cousins. Annabella is 8 and Aidan is 6. But in my heart theyll always be one, the age I met them at because their adopted. Annabella was such a little peanut, and Aidan was such beyond adorable. I look at them and think of how lucky they are and how better off they are having been adopted to such a loving family. But really it’s the loving that’s the lucky one. I couldn’t imagine them not being in our lives.
So what makes me mad is those rich people having surrogate pregnancies and spending thousands when they’re are millions of kids waiting not only in America but worldwide. and not all those families are rich which confuses me even more. I know women
Want to be able to carry their own, but if you can’t they shouldn’t be ashamed. Plenty of unfit mothers can give birth just as many fit mothers can. I strongly believe money can be better spent.

If i had a million dollars..

i wanna write about the do something award show but im getting distracted. itunes has some wicked awesome new 69 cent songs. my heart will go on. enough said.

anywho, award show, good stuff. they should do more of those kinds because i feel celebrities arent using enough of their starpower o get the word out about causes that need attending too. but then it also showed regular people and how they took it inot their own hands. now im out of excuees saying im a wee little voice. and i want to help. i do. but i dont really know how. and what cause would i help? i already do the jimmy fund walk for cancer, but if i had a milllion dollars how would i divide it among all the causes?

i should also mention my sweet 16th birthday in which i got no presents, only i did. without a doubt the best birthday ever. instead of giftcards to dunks and red sox gear, i had all my guest make a donation to 1 of 16 different charities of my choice. i cant rremmebr all of them, but ill try: jimmy fund, allzheimers association, big brother big sister, red sox foundation, pitching in for kids, special olympics, american cancer society, globe santa, susan komen, and i forget the other 7 or so. oh the walk for hunger chairty, project bread.

but the show was happy sad. thye’ve done alot of good but theres still so much more to be done. still so many hungry kids, kids living on the streets, not getting presents at christms and birthdays, and not getting loved or appreciated. people not earning fair wages, being traded like baseball cards among 12 year old boys. and then we haev the wealthy people who have more than 1 car per person. own outfits that could feed a family of 4 for a month. how can you not feel guilty? i spend to much money on unnesary things too which stinks cuz i hate being a …darn. that word. i forget what its called. not a critic. its like a mesh of critic and procrastinator i think? double . jee wizz. o well i dont like being those people that say they dont like something but they do it thmesleves.

thats amore by dean martin. 69 cents. itunes seriously your on a roll.

i think thats all for now im redistracted

I wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy…

i do though. today i was at dunkins and got a iced coffee and 2 donuts. came out to 4 bucks even. normally i like when its an odd number so i can leave a tip, so i just left $1. now to me that not alot of money, even though i only make 8.50 an hour but still i wont miss that dollar. probably would have just botten yet another 3 muskateer bar.

poop my right earbud is broken. kings of leon pandora through left ear alone will have to do.

anywho, those deemed “useless” $1s add up. especailly to those hard working foriegners who noone treats with enugh respect as they deserve. yeah they dont speak good english, but thats onlt because they came to america for a better life, not becasue they wanted to be ahstled with making your coffee just right. they ant a better life for their kids where they’re free to believe it what they want. this only comes up beacuase over weekend in ma a “illegal alien”( heck no alien? how bout person) ran over a motorcyclist. my dads friends started talking about illegal immigratns and my mom brouhtt up the point how hard it was for our ancestors to get here toa merica. i know the irish had a particular good point and the other 25 percent of me is german. imagine being a german living in america during ww2. my grandfather use to get in fights just beacue of his last name, too proud to lie and say he was polish or change it becasue he knew hs ancestors were the good germans, not the horrible nazi germans.now to the present day: imagine beleiveing in islam. people automatiaclly judge, just becasue of the few bad eggs. dont really like that term either.

but america is expensicve o live in, so often times one family member comes over and saves up tosend other family members over, but often that tskes years so yes some of them do try to treat the system. so

Mind Games

Tito fired from the Red Sox. To me, that is current social news of importance. I absolutely love the Red Sox but nowadays it just seems too much about the money. I miss the days where players and loyalty meant more than dollar signs. When players stayed long enough on the team where it was actually somewhat plausible to spend 25 some odd dollars to buy a player t-shirt.  If you’re a fan and you miss a half a season, seems like by the time you go back and watch another game half the time theres at least 3 new starters alone. but to fire a manager that won your team 2 world series in 8 years compared to the endless managers that won 0 world series in 86 years doesn’t really make sense. I feel as though the owners are going to start this manager, whose name I’m not even ready to say yet as I’m still upset, and the Red Sox will win some games and will loose some games. Even during this season we had as much as 3 games up from the Yankees and then just simmered out during the end of the year. Hopefully we get a solid core and the new manager is a nice guy and does a good job with the team  to prepare for a good 2012 season.
